Yesterday was the farrier…today the veterinarian. A neighbor brought her stud colt over to our place for a gelding procedure. My lil’ guy Pierce was to be gelded too, but he had a complication…only one has dropped (there are two). So, we’ll reschedule for Pierce in the near future when the vet will bring all of the equipment that she needs for a more complicated surgery.
Below is my friend’s horse Trig having his wolf teeth removed while he is still under anesthesia after his gelding procedure. Wolf teeth are usually only found in male horses and cause problems when the bit is used in the horse’s mouth.
